In the renovation of the Sunshine Marketplace at the University of California, San Diego, Day-O-Lite’s PRFL-44-D suspended linear and ARCL-44-D-TRL custom curved recessed luminaires were selected to deliver both visual performance and seamless architectural integration.

Designed with a clean 4" aperture and delivering up to 115 LPW, the PRFL-44-D linear fixtures provide high illuminance across shelving and aisles, ensuring product visibility and a comfortable retail experience.

At checkout, the ARCL-44-D-TRL recessed system mirrors the exact curvature of the false ceiling and floor path, blending lighting with architecture in a trimless, precision-aligned installation. With a UGR<17, exceptional efficacy, and long life, both systems deliver a low-glare, energy-efficient solution tailored for high-traffic commercial environments.
